Due to the usual download delay, I'm only just watching the Doctor Who finale now. Apparently a lot of people didn't like it... Let's see how it goes, shall we?

The Master listens to the Scissor Sisters! OMG he dances around to the Scissor Sisters! He sings along! And it's even one of my favourite songs from that album.

Speaking of mister-Master, he sure got more evil and less so in an amusing way, since he gained control of the earth. I guess that's natural.

I will not comment on Jack being chained up like that, and what awful things the Master might have done to him. Nope.

Not to be shallow or anything, but will we get our young and smexy Doctor back before this ends? Not that the super-old little Doctor creature isn't oddly... cute, but I need more eye candy.

Lucy has been royally fucked up in the last year, hasn't she? Sporting bruises and appearing either high or mad or both. Reminds me of Drusilla. And she's still very pretty, so I like her.

I do like the visual aspects of this episode, the scenery.

Hehe, the Master's silly sneaking up on the Doctor. Not to mention his bedhair.

Oh, what a terribly weird, beautiful plan. Cue the dramatic music!

"Stop it. No! No-no-no-no you don't!"

Yay, the hotness is back! With dramatic music! And dramatic, positive statements about the human race! That's exactly what a season finale should be like. And shiny too.

And with the forgiveness, of course.

Followed by the highly important "I know you" conversation, while the world is about to end around them. Classic!

"You mean you're just gonna have to... keep me?" I approve of this notion! Oh, I want this to be written!

Oh noes, death by bullet?! Dying in the Doctor's arms! Refusing to regenerate! No! That's not fair! Look, the Doctor's crying for Pete's sake! Oh no, now I'm crying... "I have no one else." Wow, this is just like watching angsty fanfiction live on screen. The fangirls couldn't have written it better themselves.

It's more Moulin Rouge then LoTR, isn't it? The Doctor gets to have his Christian moment. Is the Master as attractive as Satine, I wonder?

Ten/Jack/Martha is a very nice OT3. Aw, Jack would rather stay with Torchwood.

*Jaw drops* Well that's a plot twist. Jack really does grow very old then.

Martha's leaving? Awww. On the other hand, she's finally grown some balls. Good for her!

Wait... Lucy picking his ring up. I'm going to jump on the Master-Jumped-Into-Lucy's-Body-Bandwagon! Rock on!

... The Doctor sunk the Titanic. Wonderful.

So apart from the fact that there was no Ten/Jack or Ten/Master snogging, which was sort of a huge disappointment...


That wasn't too bad if you ask me. I quite liked it.
